I liked Frozen more than Tangled. I only wish that Elsa and Anna wouldn’t have grown apart after Elsa hurt Anna when they were kids…I think it would have been better had they been closer at the time that most of the movie took place. I can see why they did what they did but I would have liked more Elsa/Anna love. Other than that, Kristoff was a great character and Sven was so likeable. The thought of a talking snowman really turned me off when I saw the previews and what not, but he was a lot better in the film. He actually made me laugh the most. Elsa was such an intense and well thought out character. I couldn’t believe the depth they were able to put into her. I couldn’t help but notice that she and Elphaba have similar qualities of being freaks and of leaving to be an outsider of their own choice. I wonder if that was another reason they chose Idina to voice her. Let It Go was perfection.
Mrs. Doubtfire is a lot less fun to watch now that I am a little more enlightened about trans issues. The scene where the boy finds him peeing standing up is awful. He says really offensive things, including that they should call the police. It’s sad that that scene has to be in there.
I just realized that Violet is like the darker and more broody version of Rapunzel.
I’m very excited for this movie!
"You can do it Brucie!"
"Yeah, you can do it!"
"BRUCE BRUCE BRUCE BRUCE!!!!!!"
